Over 2K PG&E Customers Impacted By Outage

PG&E was investigating the cause of the outage that started around 5:30 p.m. Friday.

PETALUMA, CA — A power outage was impacting more than 2,500 customers Friday in Petaluma, according to Pacific Gas & Electric Company.

The outage started at 5:31 p.m. Friday and affected at least 2,747 customers, PG&E's outage map showed. The area impacted was mainly west of U.S. Highway 101 in northwest Petaluma along Petaluma Boulevard North, although some customers east of the 101 near Corona Road and North McDowell Boulevard were also without electricity.

As of 6:56 p.m., PG&E was assessing the outage at the site and investigating the cause.

The estimated time of restoration was 9:45 p.m. Friday, according to the utility's website.
