Neighboring jurisdictions reported similar sprees.
"The Petaluma Police Department is kindly requesting assistance from the community for any surveillance footage which might have captured these incidents or any suspicious activity within the past 24-hours," Flores said.
Police said it would be helpful if more residents and businesses registered their security camera systems with the department’s voluntary registry program, ensuring officers have contact information for community members whose cameras may have captured potential evidence.
Police asked anyone who has information about the break-ins from the weekend or can identify the suspect or suspects to call 707-778-4372.
