Petaluma Man Arrested In Stun Gun Assault At Deli: Police
BREAKING: The alleged assault with a Taser happened at Ray's Deli on Western Avenue, according to Petaluma police.

PETALUMA, CA — A Petaluma man was arrested Thursday afternoon in his hometown after he allegedly shot another person with a stun gun, police said Saturday. Steven Pallas, 49, was arrested after police responded at 2:52 p.m. to Ray's Delicatessen and Tavern at 900 Western Ave. Police were told a fight was occurring between two people and one was armed with a Taser.
The victim told police that he confronted Pallas as he was entering the deli and the two allegedly exchanged words. Police said during the exchange Pallas allegedly head-butted the victim in the face and attempted to place him in a chokehold. The victim was able to throw Pallas off of him and the two fell to the floor. Pallas then allegedly started shooting the victim with the stun gun.
Police said employees were able to stop the fight and disarm Pallas.

The victim suffered minor injuries. Police said that employees gave officers the stun gun.
The victim decided to make a citizen's arrest on Pallas who was booked into the county jail on suspicion of battery and assault with a stun gun.
