A Photographer's Take On 'The Starry Night': Photo Of The Day

PETALUMA, CA — Caroline McCall, a Petaluma resident since the 1970s, shared this image she took at Helen Putnam Park while walking on a path lit by the moonlight.
"The picture turned out grainy which I really think is beautiful because it almost looks like a painting, Vincent van Gogh-style," Caroline wrote in an email to Patch.
We agree it's a lovely take on van Gogh's "The Starry Night."
