Photos: Hundreds Ride In Annual Petaluma Lighted Holiday Bike Parade

The only prerequisites were to have a decorated bike and bring your helmet, lights and bells.

PETALUMA, CA — Well over 200 people cruised through downtown Petaluma on Friday evening for the second annual Petaluma Lighted Holiday Bike Ride.

Two Petaluma motorbike officers cleared the way for the festive group while another patrol car and a community service officer protected the group from the rest.

Downtown shoppers and those out for dinner were entertained as the rolling parade went by —which took almost an hour as participants slowly biked through the area, showing off their festive two-wheel rides.
