Photos: Rivertown Revival Rouses Petaluma

The "more than a music festival" event featured live music, art, food, "curiodities," and costumes — especially of the Steampunk sort.

PETALUMA, CA — Friends of the Petaluma River presented the Rivertown Revival the weekend of July 23-24 — marking the 12th year of celebrating the "Greatest Slough On Earth."

The two-day event held at the David Yearsley River Heritage Center on the McNear Peninsula is "more than a music festival." It celebrates the community while showcasing the best in local music, art and other surprises. There were also $5 dollar weddings, aerial acts, games and crafts for kids, and all kinds of other unexpected "curiodities" for the whole family to enjoy.
