Police Activity Concludes In Petaluma

Petaluma police issued an alert Tuesday night asking the public to avoid the area near a Taco Bell.

PETALUMA, CA — The police activity that prompted an alert Tuesday night in Petaluma concluded as of 9:20 p.m., the Petaluma Police Department said in an update, although no details were disclosed.

Police advised the public in Nixle alert at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday to avoid the area of Taco Bell at 406 E. Washington St. because of police activity. No further action was required of the public except to avoid the area, according to police.

Police said they would send an update when the situation was resolved.
