Shoppers Robbed At Gunpoint In Petaluma: Police
A masked man is sought in the armed robbery of two people in a shopping center parking lot, police said.
PETALUMA, CA — A suspect is sought in a recent armed robbery at the Petaluma Village Premium Outlets Center, according to Petaluma police.
A woman called 911 at 8:05 p.m. Friday and said she and a family member were just robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of the shopping center, Petaluma police Sgt. Ryan Suhrke said.
Officers responded and spoke with the two victims who said they parked their car near the entrance to the shopping center at 2200 Petaluma Blvd. North when a man got into the back seat of their car, then pointed a gun at both of them and demanded their belongings.

"Both victims complied after they were repeatedly threatened by the suspect," Suhrke said. "The suspect then exited the vehicle and fled the area in an unknown direction."
Officers thoroughly canvassed the area but did not find the suspect.

The victims described the robber as a black man in his 30s who was wearing a black mask covering the lower part of his face, a black baseball hat and a dark-colored jacket. The victims described the gun as a black semi-automatic handgun.
