Sonoma County Officials Support Anti-Human Trafficking Effort
January is National Human Trafficking Awareness Month, and the County Human Trafficking Task Force is encouraging event participation.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA -- January is National Human Trafficking Awareness Month, and has been recognized as an annual event since January 2010, when President Obama sought to combat the epidemic of human trafficking in this country.
During the month of January, the Sonoma County Human Trafficking Task Force, Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety and other agencies are encouraging participation in a number of events throughout Sonoma County. They include:
- Zumba for Trafficking, 10:30 am Jan. 14, Parkpoint Health Club, Healdsburg. See event flyer for more details.
