Street Closures, Regulations Issued For Annual Butter & Egg Days Parade, Antique Fair
Street closures and alcohol regs have been announced for the annual Butter & Egg Days Parade, taking place Saturday in downtown Petaluma.

PETALUMA, CA -- The Petaluma Police Department has issued alcohol regulations, guidelines and street closure information for people attending the annual Butter & Egg Days Parade this Saturday and antique fair on Sunday.
The annual Butter and Egg Days Parade, a major family oriented event attended by several thousand people, takes place on Saturday, April 29, in downtown Petaluma. The event requires the closure of multiple streets in the downtown area.
People attending the event are encouraged to arrive early and carpool to the downtown area. The parade begins at noon, but because of other events, road closures in some areas begin at 5 a.m., police said.

Alcohol will only be sold and consumed in the beer gardens located at the following locations: B Street, between 4th Street and Petaluma Blvd. North; and Western Avenue, between Kentucky Street and Keller Street. No alcohol may be brought to this event and public consumption of alcohol will not be allowed. Police say violations of alcohol related laws will be strictly enforced.

Road closures and approximate times:
- Petaluma Boulevard between Washington St. and “D” St., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.;
- Kentucky Street between “B” Street and Washington Street, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.;
- Second Street between “B” Street and “D” Street, from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.,
- Fourth Street between “I” Street and “B” Street, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.;
- Fifth Street between “I” Street and “D” Street, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.;
- “A” Street Parking Lot from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.;
- “B” Street between Second Street and Petaluma Boulevard from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.;
- “B” Street between Petaluma Boulevard and Sixth Street, from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.;
- “C” Street between Petaluma Boulevard and Second Street, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.;
- “C” Street between Petaluma Boulevard and Fifth Street, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.;
- “D” Street between First Street and Sixth Street, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.;
- Water St. between Washington St. and Petaluma Boulevard, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.;
- Washington St. between Keller St. and Petaluma Blvd., from, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.;
- Western Avenue between Petaluma Blvd. and Keller Street, from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.;
- “E”, “F” and “H” Streets between Fourth St. and Fifth St., from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Antique Fair takes place on Sunday, April 30 in the Kentucky Street area of Downtown.

From 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Fourth Street/Kentucky Street between B Street and Washington Street.
- Western Street between Keller Street and Petaluma Boulevard.
