Traffic Advisory: D Street Bridge Opening Scheduled In Petaluma

PETALUMA, CA — Drivers in Petaluma should avoid the D Street Bridge area Tuesday morning, police said.

The drawbridge is scheduled to be open from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. To avoid potential traffic delays during that time, the Petaluma Police Department suggests using alternate routes such as Washington Street and Petaluma Boulevard South.

Periodic bridge openings are expected through January as construction continues on a project to replace the docks at the turning basin.
