Traffic Alert: Big Rig Overturns On Sonoma Freeway

PETALUMA, CA -- A big rig crashed early Saturday on a Sonoma County freeway, prompting a SigAlert. The incident happened at 4:36 a.m. on Highway 101 near Petaluma Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP incident log reported the big rig jackknifed the road after crashing along with a Toyota Prius. The incident blocked two lanes, prompting a SigAlert, as multiple cars pulled over.

An ambulance was called to the scene.

The road was expected to clear by 8 a.m.
