Police asked for the public's help to identify a man who vandalized a local business three times.
PETALUMA, CA — The Petaluma Police Department sought the public's help Sunday to identify a man wanted in connection with the vandalism of a local business back in January.
A business owner on Lynch Creek Way contacted the police department on Jan. 3 to report someone all the glass windows of the building were shattered and a black line was spray-painted around the outside of the building.
The cost to repair the business was estimated between $10,000 and $15,000, Petaluma police Sgt. Ron Flores said.

Officers reviewed surveillance video of the suspect and it appeared to be a white man who was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, a mask and gloves, and was carrying a backpack.

The same business was targeted twice before in August 2023 by the same person who spray-painted the outside of the business and threw rocks at the windows, shattering them, Flores said.
