Women Walking Report Suspicious Oak Hill Park Incident
A man follows women walking through the park, and seems to accelerate his pace to keep close to them. Police give a description of the man.

PETALUMA - Police in Petaluma are investigating a suspicious incident that occurred Friday evening involving a man following women as they walked in Oak Hill Park.
On Friday at 6:50 p.m., the women were in the park when they noticed a man as he walked a short distance from them. Police said the women walked faster to move away from the man, but he sped up to match their pace.
The women again walked faster as they approached their vehicle, but the suspect again matched their pace and followed them to their vehicle. The man then left the area.

The man did not try to touch the women.
Police performed a search of the area but were not able to locate the suspect. Police said there was a robbery in the area Thursday night, but it is unknown if the two events are related.

The suspect is described as a man in his 20s, about 6 feet tall and 170 pounds. He was wearing dark clothing and a beanie-style cap.
