Man Fatally Shot at East Oakland Home Monday Morning
Officers found an adult male who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to police.
OAKLAND, CA — A man was fatally shot inside a home in East Oakland this morning, police said.Officers who responded to a home in the 1200 block of 95th Avenue after they received a phone call from a citizen at 9:24 a.m. reporting that there might be a dead person there.
Officers found an adult male who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to police. Paramedics responded but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a second shooting a few minutes earlier, a man was shot in the 1700 block of 73rd Avenue at 9:16 a.m. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital but police didn't release his condition. Police didn't say if there's any connection between the two shootings in East Oakland.
