Piedmont Community Service Crew: Helping Rebuild Oakland One House at a Time
The group of co-ed high school students begin one of two work days this Saturday at an Oakland home in need to repair. The work is part of their biggest annual project in association with the nonprofit Rebuilding Together Oakland.

The Piedmont Community Service Crew continues work on its biggest annual project this Saturday — a home renovation project in association with the nonprofit Rebuilding Together Oakland.
PCSC is a group of co-ed high school students who perform community service projects around the Bay Area.

Every April, crew members work with the nonprofit to find an low-income Oakland homeowner with a house in need of repair.
This year, the crew hosted an adult-only prep day on April 13 and a carpet installing day on April 20. In addition, it will have two official work days on April 27 and May 4.

Most of the manpower will be provided by Piedmont youth and their parents, and the project is financed by generous supporters of PCSC in the community.
