Victims of Double Homicide at Cesar Chavez Park Identified
Both men were pronounced dead at the park.

OAKLAND, CA — Two men shot and killed at a park in Oakland's Fruitvale district on Tuesday have been identified as 47-year-old Shawn Chatman and 28-year-old Augustine Vigil, police said today.
Vigil and Chatman were both Oakland residents. According to his Facebook page, Vigil attended Skyline High School and had four children. They were both found at Cesar Chavez Park near Foothill Boulevard
and Harrington Avenue shortly after 11 p.m. on Tuesday. Both were pronounced dead at the park.
Police have made no arrests and provided no description of any suspects in the shooting.
