Chamber and Business Leader Cathy Peterson Takes Pride in Poway, Family

Cathy Peterson is well-known in Poway’s business community.

Peterson, who grew up in the city, is an agent for Farmers Insurance and has served on the Poway Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors since 2009.

On top of that, Peterson is a member of Rancho Bernardo Business Association, Rancho Bernardo Soroptimists International and has been involved in Poway Pop Warner.

 “I am so proud to be a part of this community as a resident and as a business owner,” she said. “At this time of my life, I feel my biggest accomplishment is continuing to have a successful business that grows every year, being married to a wonderful husband of 27 years and raising a son that I am extremely proud of.

“I look up to all the strong, successful and positive women in my life.”

What does Women’s History Month mean to you?
