Close-Up Shot Of Great Egret In Poway: Photo Of The Day

POWAY, CA — Patch reader and Poway resident Dale Furr captured this close-up photo of a great egret. The picture was taken in October 2020.

"It was early in the morning and this great egret settled on the tree behind our house," he explained. "The egrets have come to symbolize South Poway Trail for me, as have the red-shouldered hawks."
