Discovery Isle Students Donate Baby Clothes to Families in Need

Students at Discovery Isle Preschool in Scripps-Poway recently held a food drive for the San Diego Food Bank and donated non-perishable food items to help families in need. Additionally, students donated more than 100 clothing items to Gently Hugged, an organization that collects clothing and supplies for local children in need. Leading up to the donation, students held a clothing drive, collecting new and gently used baby clothes to benefit children supported by the organization. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of helping others in their community.
