DUIs

An 18-year-old male was arrested and charged with DUI on March 10 at 1:15 a.m. on Poway Road and Community Road.

A 49-year-old male was arrested and charged with DUI on March 10 at 9:22 p.m. on Pomerado Road at Twin Peaks Road.

A 45-year-old male was arrested and charged with DUI on March 11 at 4:13 a.m. in the 13800 block of Pomerado Road.

A 22-year-old male was arrested and charged with DUI on March 14 at 11:18 p.m. on Ridgedale Drive at Poway Road.

A 31-year-old male was arrested and charged with DUI on March 14 at 12:20 a.m. in the 13400 block of Poway Road.

A 38-year-old male was arrested and charged with DUI on March 15 at 2:29 a.m. on Poway Road at Carriage Road.

A 41-year-old male was arrested on March 24 and charged with DUI; felony DUI with prior specific convictions; driving with a license suspended/revoked with prior DUI convictions on Poway Road at Ann O Reno Lane at 10:15 p.m.

Sunday, March 18

A 35-year-old male was arrested and charged with kidnapping and residential burglary, both felonies, in the 17100 block of Alva Road at 7:35 p.m.

A call about a suspicious person just after 7 a.m. led to the arrest of a 21-year-old male on four felony controlled-substance charges and four misdemeanor charges, including carrying a switchblade knife. A 22-year-old male was also arrested and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.

Monday, March 19

The theft of 50 plants with a combined value of $4,000 was reported from a construction company on Kirkham Way at General Atomics Way.

Tuesday, March 20

A commercial burglary was reported at a construction company on Kirkham Way at General Atomics Way. Equipment valued at $320 was reported stolen.

A motorcycle valued at $6,000 was reported stolen in the 12600 block of Oak Knoll Road.

Wednesday, March 21

A 23-year-old male was cited for driving with a suspended license with a prior DUI conviction on Community Road at Aubrey Street at 5:45 p.m.

A 22-year-old male was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license with a prior DUI conviction in the 13100 block of Poway Road at 4:07 p.m.

A 22-year-old male was arrested and charged with four controlled-substance felonies and DUI in the 12200 block of Scripps Poway Parkway at 8:25 p.m. 

A theft by use of access card information was reported in the 13400 block of Community Road; $1,102 in currency was reported stolen.

A wallet and $30 in currency were reported stolen in the 12600 block of Poway Road.

An 18-year-old male and a female whose age was not released were arrested and charged with felony shoplifting from Kohl’s on Gregg Court at 8:15 p.m. The male was also charged with misdemeanor vandalism. Clothing and shoes valued at $37 were recovered; a pair of shoes valued at $69.99 was damaged.

Thursday, March 22

Shoes and clothing valued at $170.99 were reported stolen from Kohl’s on Gregg Court.

A residential burglary was reported in the 14500 block of Wildgrove Road. A wallet, credit cards and a portable music device valued at $50 were reported stolen.

Friday, March 23

The theft of $2,600 worth of parts was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 13100 block of Carriage Road.

A 49-year-old female was arrested and charged with commercial burglary and embezzlement, both felonies, at Home Depot on Tech Center Drive. Miscellaneous cash/papers/ID valued at $2,023.84 were reported stolen.

A 20-year-old male was arrested and charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia, both misdemeanors, during a traffic stop in the 13600 block of Poway Road around 7 p.m.

A juvenile was detained for a curfew violation and drunk in public in the 13700 block of Celestial Road at 11:53 p.m.

A 23-year-old male was arrested and charged with allowing a house party and consumption of alcohol/controlled substances in the 13700 block of Celestial Road around midnight.
