Walking Tour of Private Gardens Will Show Off Spring Flowers

1. Plant lovers can get a rare glimpse of five area gardens today during the Bernardo Gardeners Spring Garden Tour. The self-guided tour runs from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., rain or shine. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the Swildens Garden at 13310 Starmount Way in Poway, as well other gardens. There will be free refreshments and a plant sale, and proceeds will help horticulture students pay for school. Flat shoes are required, and children must be at least 10 years old.
