  1. Deadly Crash in RB — Two men were killed in a crash on Friday when their Mercedes slammed into a tree on Bernardo Heights Parkway. Emergency crews had to split the car in half to remove the men from inside. They were rushed to the hospital where both men died. No details yet about the cause of the accident. (NBC San Diego)
  2. Six candidates will run for the RBHS School Site Council parent election. There are two openings. The School Site Council is an elected body which oversees the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA). Voting begins Monday, Aug. 23 or Aug. 27, 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. Visit Ms. Cindy Long in the main office to cast your vote. (Press Release Desk)
  3. RBHS juniors and seniors are still waiting for a make-up picture day. Lifetouch photographers and RBHS are expected to approve a schedule in the next few weeks.
