Here are the top stories today in Rancho Bernardo-4s Ranch:

  1. It's back! "The Thanksgiving Day Thank You Run" returns to 4S Ranch Sports Park. For a 12th year the 5K and Kids 1K will be back in-person. The event will benefit the ALS Association —Greater San Diego Chapter. The run will start on Dove Creek Road, travel around the 4s Ranch Master's Association and end at the 4S Ranch Sports Park. A complimentary beer will be offered to those adults who finish the race, courtesy of Karl Strauss Brewery. To learn more: Click into parenthesis, then click the link. (Patch)
  2. It is a mirror, not a window. Rotary members should not use The Four-Way Test to view others. They should use it to judge themselves. Ask the questions: Is it truth? Is it fair to all? Will it build good will and better friendships? And will it be beneficial to all concerned? These are the questions members must ask themselves. These are their goals. 3. Need an escape? Through Dec. 5, you can get 50 percent off the best available rate, plus a $50 daily dining credit to use at either of two restaurants. Enjoy lovely rooms, an excellent spa, and a 18-hole Championship golf course. And you don't need to travel far — this haven is at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. The deal is valid through March 31.
