  1. Affordable Housing in RB? A proposal was made to build a 100-unit apartment building near the transit station in Rancho Bernardo. The six-story building, with apartments ranging from 550-1,000 square feet, would provide affordable housing in the area. Affirmed Housing, the company planning the build, is located in Sabre Springs. Affirmed Housing is known for its affordable housing communities for families, as well as for veterans, seniors, and people experiencing homelessness.   2. As the regularly scheduled meeting in September was canceled due to disruptions by demonstrators, this month’s meeting of the Poway Unified School District (PUSD) Board was held online. One of the topics included for discussion was how the district area boundaries were drawn and how they should be drawn in the future due to population shifts.
