Attempted Armed Robbery at Mobil Station Nets Zero Dollars
A gunman demands cash from the Mobil on the corner of Rancho Bernardo Road and Bernardo Center Drive.
A gunman in a white BMW held up the Mobil station at 11898 Rancho Bernardo Road on Saturday, demanded cash from the employee but didn't get any, according to San Diego police.
The attempted robbery occurred around 8:25 p.m. by a white male, 6 feet tall, between 160-170 pounds wearing a blue hoodie, according to Officer David Stafford.
He fled in the BMW, and there were no injuries, Stafford said. A suspect has not been arrested, and robbery detectives are investigating.
