Denny’s Robbed by Three Gunmen

Two employees are assaulted during the robbery early Friday morning.

Three gunmen robbed the restaurant on Bernardo Center Drive early Friday morning, demanding cash from two employees before fleeing on foot, according to San Diego police.

The three suspects entered the restaurant just before 3:30 a.m. wearing ski masks, according to Officer David Stafford. They pulled one employee by the hair, punched another in the face and locked both of them in an office. The employees sustained minor injuries, according to Stafford.

The suspects took money from the cash register and fled from the restaurant located north of Bernardo Heights Parkway. The three were described as black males in their 20s wearing dark jackets, blue jeans and ski masks.
