Here are the top stories in Rancho Bernardo-4s Ranch today:

  1. Think back. Your parents told you not to feed the ducks in Webb Park. Now you are being told that again. Why? "Wildlife needs to stay wild to remain vital in its position in its ecosystem," said outdoor ethics advocate, Dale Long. "We have a few folks changing its ecosystem by feeding the ducks and other wildlife from five-gallon buckets of commercial bird feed." This excess food on the ground creates turbidity in the lake. Fish and plants die. Excess food feeds vermin. To learn more: Click into parenthesis, then click the link. (The San Diego Union-Tribune)
  2. Need a ball of fluff in your life? Why not adopt a pet available right here in the Rancho Bernardo-4s Ranch areas? Need a dog who is good with kids, dogs, and cats? Oreo may be perfect for you. Many puppies and dogs are available right now waiting to be adopted. If you prefer cats, there are many for you to choose from as well. Take a look and find the one that captures your heart.
