1. The new pilot program between Palomar College and PUSD is scheduled to begin in August 2022. Students will enroll in both schools and will receive credit through both schools. This new alternative high school will be for 11th and 12th grade students. Students will take a mix of high school and college courses taught by both Palomar and PUSD instructors. From jobs for laborers to water systems techs, to dispatchers, to sanitation driver trainees, electricians, engineers and legal secretaries, the City may have a job for you. Or perhaps you’d like to become a firefighter or a police officer. The City has openings right now. There are also jobs for paralegals, accountants, attorneys, and many positions in between.
