  2. Did you know that one in 14 seniors experiences food insecurity? San Diego County Sheriff’s Department deputies want to raise awareness about senior hunger by delivering warm meals to seniors who are homebound. Deputies delivered to “Meals on Wheels” clients in San Diego. "Meals on Wheels” provides meals to seniors and veterans with disabilities. According to Acting Sheriff Kelly Martinez, volunteering for “Meals on Wheels” is a wonderful way to supplement our “You Are Not Alone (YANA) Program” and take care of our seniors.
