1. The "system" is broken. At last night's Rancho Bernardo Community meeting, leaders called for a change to the ‘flawed’ system for sexually violent predator placements in California. Among the attendees were representatives from the state, the county, and the City of San Diego, the PUSD Board President, and representatives of Mount Helix and Kid Safe California. 2. Don't miss it! The 2021 Kids Free San Diego continues through Oct. 31. More than 25 museums, the San Diego Zoo, the Japanese Friendship Garden, and other venues will offer free admission to children this month.
