- Police diverted traffic from Rancho Bernardo Road on Sunday due to a fatal accident and six car crash. The accident occurred in the early morning when the driver crashed into a parked car, his airbag deflated, and a knife pierced his neck. He was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead. - The news is out! Former Charger Eric Weddle will be the new head coach of the Rancho Bernardo High School football team. He will assist Coach Tristan McCoy for the 2022 season and will become head coach in 2023. Weddle has coached his son's 12-U team in RB in the past. They won a championship.
