- The Rancho Bernardo Community Council will meet today. Rep. Scott Peters is scheduled to speak. Meetings are open to the public. Among topics for council discussion: the use of recycled tires for sidewalks and roads. Due to COVID-19 this meeting will be held on Zoom. Start time is 6:30 p.m. (Facebook)
- Fred Finch Youth & Family Services Golf Tournament is slated for Sept. 10. The charity event will take place at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. Registration will begin at 6:30 a.m., the event will start at 8:15 a.m., with lunch and an outdoor reception held at 1 p.m. Proceeds will benefit health care for vulnerable children and families. - The Rancho Bernardo Woman’s Club will host a fashion show. Chico's will show its latest fashions for women at the Bernardo Heights Country Club. Social hour will begin at 11:30 a.m. luncheon at noon. Masks are required. Cost is $30. Guests are welcome. (San Diego Union Tribune)
