San Diego Gas Prices ‘Settle Down a Bit’
Some had anticipated that wholesale prices would skyrocket like they have in other markets, but they haven't so far.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County fell two-tenths of a cent Thursday to $4.07, one day after dropping eight-tenths of a cent.
The cheapest gallon of gas in Rancho Bernardo can be found for $3.89 at the ARCO on the corner of Rancho Bernardo Road and Bernardo Center Drive, according to GasBuddy.com.
The average price in San Diego is 1.3 cents less than one week ago and 4.5 cents lower than one month ago, but 26.3 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

Following an 11-day streak of increases, the average price has dropped four days and was unchanged twice.
"Prices may have risen in the last week in anticipation that the wholesale price would skyrocket as it has been doing in other markets throughout the nation," Marie Montgomery of the Automobile Club of Southern California told City News Service. "When that didn't pan out, local prices have settled down a bit."
