  1. San Diego county reached a $4.5 million settlement. Restaurant owners will be notified that permit fees for the period from March 16, 2020 through June 15, 2021 will be refunded. COVID and recent closures have devastated our local restaurants and these refunds will help put these businesses on the path to recovery. Please patronize your local RB restaurants.   2. The Rancho Bernardo History Museum welcomes you to its open house, 3 - 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18. The museum will present its new exhibit on Indigenous heritage in the Rancho Bernardo area. Come see Kumeyaay artifacts and images of rock art pictographs. (The San Diego Union-Tribune)
