  1. Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church (RBCPC) will hold its annual Souper Bowl of Caring. The event is sponsored by the Carpenter's Fellowship group. 2. Thinking of buying flowers for your loved one this Valentine's Day? Think again. Local florists are experiencing a flower shortage this season and prices are rising fast. Supply chain issues, labor shortages, and bad weather are causing a global shortage of fresh flowers. Place your Valentine's orders early and call your florist to confirm if you are ordering online. 3. Spotlight On: Hunan Chinese Restaurant. If you want delicious food, Hunan style, this is the place to go. The restaurant, a longtime fixture in RB, has recently been remodeled but the food has the same wonderful quality. It is a place where local Chinese residents often go to eat. Try one or two of Hunan's delicious appetizers, traditional soups, and delectable entrees. Open daily at 11 a.m., closed Mondays. To learn more: Click into parenthesis, then click the link.
