- Love to cook? Want to sell your dinners to the public from your home? Now San Diego County residents can do just that! The San Diego County Board of Supervisors voted to allow microenterprise home kitchen operation, or “MEHKOs,’’ to operate for a two-year period. - Impaired drivers cause injuries and deaths on our local roadways. Now, a SD County Sheriff’s Department is working to get those drivers off the roads. DUI/Driver’s License checkpoints are being held to reduce tragedies and to see that motorists have a valid driver’s license. Call 911 if you see a suspected impaired driver. - Unlike earlier versions of COVID-19, the omicron variant often emerges in the stomach. According to Dr. Bill Admire, with Infirmary Health, patients with omicron, are experiencing gastrointestinal problems such as: nausea, abdominal pain, vomiting, loss of appetite, and diarrhea.
