"We take allegations of child endangerment very seriously," police said in a statement.
TORRANCE, CA — Police say they've arrested two people in connection with a dog attack in the South Bay last year that left a baby dead.
Genna Magliocco and Charles Womack were arrested last week after authorities accused them of endangering the life of a newborn baby who died in October 2024 after being bitten by a dog in Torrance.
The baby was just a month old at the time of the attack, which happened in the 2700 block of Martha Avenue, according to the Torrance Police Department. Details about what led up to the attack or what kind of dog attacked the baby remain unclear.
