Beethoven, a 2-year-old dog with shepherd, Akita and chow bloodlines, is "just a ham and a love," according to Lovejoy Foundation director Erin Lovejoy.

Two weeks ago, he was found tied to a fence in South Central Los Angeles, but after a bath and some medical attention, he's ready for his new home.

Beethoven gets along well with other dogs. His ideal owner would be active, possibly a runner, and someone who will love him unconditionally.

Beethoven is neutered, microchipped and current on all of his shots.
