DUI Checkpoint Scheduled For Saturday In Hermosa Beach
The DUI checkpoint will occur from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. on July 26, according to police.

HERMOSA BEACH, CA — Hermosa Beach police will hold a DUI checkpoint Saturday, July 26, to deter drunk and impaired drivers, the department announced Tuesday.
The checkpoint will take place from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. Police did not say where the checkpoint would take place, only that the location would be chosen based on data showing where in Hermosa Beach crashes involving DUI drivers were most likely to take place.
Impaired drivers put others on the road at significant risk," Hermosa Beach Police Department Officer Keaton Dadigan said in a statement on social media Tuesday. "Any prevention measures that reduce the number of impaired drivers on our roads significantly improve traffic safety."
