Gas Prices Average $4.11 Per Gallon
There are several stations in the Redondo Beach area, however, that sell gas for less than $4 per gallon.

After rising 43 times in 45 days, the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline decreased for the 19th consecutive day Wednesday, City News Service reported.
Drivers will pay, on average, $4.107 per gallon—1.3 cents less than Tuesday's average. That's nearly 10 cents less than last week and 12.4 cents less than last month.
The price is still $1.059 higher than it was last year at this time, according to the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

According to GasBuddy.com, there are some stations in the Redondo Beach area that sell gas for prices before the county average. Prices are user-reported within the past 24 hours:

The declining cost of crude oil, which makes up nearly three-quarters of the price of a gallon of gas, is driving the price decreases, analysts say. The price of a barrel of benchmark West Texas Intermediate crude on the New York Mercantile Exchange has fallen 12.6 percent from a two-year high of $113.93 on April 29 to $99.59.
