Gas Prices Fall for 32 Days Straight

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Tuesday for the 32nd consecutive day, City News Service reported. Since the streak began, the price has dropped 28.8 cents.

The average price of $4.003 per gallon is 5.5 cents less than last week and 28.6 cents less than it was last month at this time, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It's still 93.1 cents higher than it was at this time last year.

Earlier this year, the price of gas rose 43 times in 45 days.

There are still stations in the Redondo Beach area selling gas for lower-than-average prices, according to GasBuddy.com.
