Lunafest Returning To Redondo Beach This Weekend

This year's film selections include stories of reflection, hope and humor from the around the world, organizers said.

REDONDO BEACH, CA -- Lunafest, the traveling short-festival by and for women, is coming to Redondo Beach this weekend.

The event is hosted by the Manhattan Beach branch of the Soroptimist International, a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls globally.

This year's film selections include stories of reflection, hope and humor from the around the world, organizers said.

The event is a fundraiser for Soroptimist International and the Breast Cancer fund. The festival will screen from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. March 19 the Redondo Beach Arts Center.

Tickets, which may be purchased at http://bit.ly/2nqj4s9, are $35 presale, $15 for students and or $40 at the door.
