Hustler Casino Shooting: Police Swarm Building, 1 Reportedly Hurt
Police swarmed Hustler Casino on Thursday morning amid reports of gunshots. One person was reportedly shot during a robbery attempt.

GARDENA, CA — A shooting and attempted robbery at Hustler Casino in Gardena left one person reportedly hurt as police swarmed the building Thursday morning.
LAPD were called to the casino around 10:30 a.m. One person was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound, KABC reported.
A security guard said an unknown suspect fired shots, according to scanner traffic.

Guadalupe Rodriguez, a medical Instructor based out of Carson, said she was across the street from the casino and saw employees standing outside.

"Something big is going on at the casino on the corner of Redondo Beach and Vermont," she tweeted.
She told Patch in a direct message that she arrived minutes after the shooting and saw police cars arrive and employees evacuate.
"Both marked and unmarked vehicles arrived, then a unit had a small white Honda (or similar) on Berendo," she said.
Photos posted on social media showed a helicopter flying overhead and police vehicles at the casino.
