A fight between two homeless man sends one to the hospital, police say.

Redondo Beach police officers arrested a homeless man Thursday night after he got into a fight with another transient near Riviera Village, authorities said.
According to Sgt. Fabian Saucedo, one man received injuries to his face during the fight, and he was transported to the hospital.
The alleged attacker, later identified as Christopher Weaver, 40, ran, and at first officers tried to chase him; however, once he was identified, police went back to the suspect's car and waited for him, Saucedo said. Weaver, who lives in his car, was arrested on battery charges.
