Redondo Beach-Based Republican Club's Charter Revoked by County GOP

REDONDO BEACH, CA -- The Redondo Beach-based Beach Cities Republican Club has had its charter revoked by the county's Republican Party, the Daily Breeze reported.

The reason was for the revocation was because the club attacked members of the county GOP's executive committee, according to the Daily Breeze.

The executive director of the Los Angeles County Republican Party Jason Maruca would not provide any specifics on the nature of the attacks, according to the Daily Breeze.

The Beach Cities Republican Club, however, issued a statement on its Facebook page saying the charter was revoked because it violated its own bylaws, the Daily Breeze reported.

It's unclear which bylaws the club violated.
