Redondo Beach Firefighter President Investigated For Suspected Embezzlement
Bradley Sweatt is suspected of embezzling as much as $19,000 from the union by transferring them to his personal account for personal uses.

REDONDO BEACH, CA -- The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office is investigating the president of the Redondo Beach Firefighter Association for alleged embezzling, according to court documents.
Bradley Sweatt is suspected of embezzling as much as $19,000 from the union by transferring them to his personal account and using the funds for trips to Las Vegas, Illinois, Georgia and parts of California, according to the affidavit filed by prosecutors.
Investigators searched Sweatt's bank records at the South Bay Credit Union on Jan. 6, according to the affidavit, which laid out the justification for the search.

Last week, investigators searched the Redondo Beach Fire Station No. 1, the D.A.'s Office confirmed but has refused to comment on it. That search warrant appears to be sealed.
Sweatt has not been criminally charged and has not commented publicly about the allegations.
