Torrance Refining Co. Testing Street Closure Barriers
The tests will ensure that the barriers are functioning properly and will determine if any maintenance is needed. (BREAKING)

TORRANCE, CA -- The Torrance Refining Company will be testing its street closure barriers on Crenshaw Boulevard on Wednesday morning.
The Torrance Police will be monitoring the testing procedures.
During the testing process, Crenshaw Boulevard will be closed between Del Amo Boulevard and 190th Street between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.; and the Del Amo Boulevard overpass will be closed between Crenshaw Boulevard and Maple Avenue between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.

The tests will ensure that the barriers are functioning properly and will determine the state of maintenance activities associated with the mechanics of the system.
Public safety officers will be stationed at intersections to direct traffic during the testing period.
