Burglaries Over Thanksgiving Week Investigated In SMC: Police
Two residential burglaries and one attempted burglary occurred during the week of Thanksgiving.
ATHERTON, CA — Officers are investigating several burglaries that happened during the week of Thanksgiving in Atherton, police said.
At around 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 26 , suspects entered a construction site on Patricia Drive. It is unknown if anything was stolen. No one was injured, police said.
At around 3:20 p.m. on Friday, security cameras stopped an attempted break in on Toyon Road after the owner called out to the suspect through the cameras, causing them to flee.

The suspect was described as a man who is between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall with a stocky build with brown eyes and was wearing a black baseball cap with a white Nike logo, black paper medical mask, black zip-up jacket and black pants.
At around 7 p.m. on Friday, suspects entered a home on Cebalo Lane after breaking the rear sliding glass door, police said.

No other information was released by law enforcement, and it is unknown at this time if any of these incident are connected.
