Caltrains Delayed, Ball Game Train Canceled

Caltrain spokesperson Christine Dunn said:

• the northbound 151 train will be 24 minutes late
• the southbound 150 will be 46 minutes late, and
• the southbound 154 will be 12 minutes late.

Why are they late?

Earlier today a Caltrain on the tracks in Burlingame. Authorities are investigating what happened, but the man has not been identified.  At about 2 p.m. the trains resumed at a slower pace than usual, but some scheduled trains will not run.

"The post-game baseball special, which was scheduled to leave San Francisco at 3:35 p.m., has been canceled," Dunn said.

This is the eighth fatality on the tracks this year.
